We Really Do Need to Be Concerned...

that these same individuals in the video below will probably be voting in the up coming election!

I'm scared, I really am.

I have always said, the only thing worst than someone not voting is for someone to have an uneducated vote.

You know what I mean. They vote because they think it is the cool thing to do,or that it seems like everyone else is behind the issue or person so it must be okay. However, they don't really know the issues.

I think Penn and Teller illustrate my point the best in the video below. My friend, Dara, sent me this video, and although I did initially laugh at these idiots (sorry, I know that's not Christ-like, but really they are). I got scared because I know there are a million more people out there just like them.

The video is a little long, but well worth watching. If you don't want to watch the whole thing, at least let it download and drag the play button to a little over half-way when they actually get these environmental activist to sign a petition to BAN H2O. Yes, that's right. They jump on the "BAN" wagon and all sign petitions to BAN WATER. It's pretty funny how they do it too!

It is funny, but also so sad. Check it out and let me know if you are as scared as I am. Oh, and don't forget to shut off my playlist at the bottom of my blog.

To semi-quote one of the girls in the video, "something that would definitely keep me up at night" is that there are individuals out there like those in the video above voting in politicians who will be running our country.

We definitely need to be concerned and praying too!

P.S. I don't want people to think that I am against helping the environment. I'm not. Yeah for all of you who are trying to do your part. What I am saying though, is that if you want to jump on a "Ban"wagon or any other wagon for that matter, PLEASE know what you are jumping on before you jump. Don't just say what everyone else is saying because we all know that the truth can be twisted. Do the research.

Holy cow, no, that does not scare me. Thanks for putting it on your page. I often wonder how people can be so totally different and I get angry about stuff like this at times, but that was outrageous and I think many of those people in about 10 years will be embarassed. Maybe by then they will really have something that keeps them up at night like worrying about their children or hey, their salvation.

I have to laugh because I agree with the video, people generally don't know what they are talking about. It is interesting for example, if you look at the "data" buying a used car and keeping it in good condition is much, much, much better for the enviroment than buying a brand new hybrid. And what about all those "enviromentalist" drinking water from plastic bottles. Making a plastic bottle uses as much water as the bottle holds and wastes a ton of energy. Exxon Mobil and those other evil companies spend billions of dollars on enviromental protection. I am sure all those protesters walked to D.C. instead of driving. I could go on and on, it is one of my soap box topics. We can all find a way to be more green without being ridiculous. Reduce, reuse, recycle! I don't blame that guy for being angry, it makes me mad too.

Mike and I stayed up way too late last night talking after Sen. Clinton's speech. We talked about this very issue. I want to say it's funny, but it really is sad! I almost feel bad for them, but...I can't feel bad for people's own stupidity! I visualize a ton of Ostriches with their heads in the sand!
