I hope to be blogging something of real substance soon though.
Until then know that I am ALIVE. I finally caught up on all of your blogs tonight (I seriously have not been around). Here are some things that have been keeping me busy and I will expand on them at a later date.
- being a mom with kids in school taking piano, safety patrol, running for Student Council President and everything else that entails being a mom and wife.
- being a counselor in a primary that is not 100% staffed
- substitute teaching (I've been doing a little too much of this and need to get better at saying , "No , not today". Let me just say, I like to sub (hey, it's perfect for me because both of my girls are in school, and I only sub at their school), but it has definitely CURED me for wanting to go back to get my masters in education. WHY? First, I NEVER want to work full time (and I hope I never will be in a situation to have to, and I like deciding when I will work). BUT THE BIGGEST REASON IS I think I would go CRAZY. Let me leave you with something a child did today. When I took the children to the restroom as a class, one little boy was taking FOREVER in the bathroom stall. I went in to check on him while everyone else was waiting in line in the hall. He said he would be right out. When he came out, his glasses were in his mouth. I said, "Please take those out of your mouth. Besides being unsanitary, it's not safe." He informed me that he could not. I said, "What?" and then I noticed his mouth was bleeding. The boy (a 3rd grader) had forced the part of his glasses that sit on top of his ear (For the life of me, I can't think of what it is called right now) in between his molar tooth while in the restroom hoping to PULL OUT his tooth (DO NOT ask me HOW he did it, or more importantly WHY?--I'm clueless. You would think that he would have been in PAIN-BUT NO. I sent him to the nurses office with the glasses in his mouth. Apparently, on the way to the nurses office the boy PULLED out the glasses along with his tooth. Breaking off part of his glasses. Why me? This is just one of the many crazy stories that I have in my brain for subbing this week.
- PTA
- and life in general
- my family reminded me that a week prior to this week, I spent every free moment that I had reading the Twilight Saga---which was OH, SO GOOD!
I'm going to the temple tomorrow and I'm glad. I really need to be there! My spirit needs to be FED big TIME, in only the way it can be in that HOLY place. So, it will probably be a couple more days before I post anything of substance. Just know I miss ya'll, and I'm still here.

Wow! You are a busy lady! You do a fantastic job at being a wife and Mom. I think I'm doing OK when I do one of those things, let alone ALL of them at once!
