Mike took his cue from me on Mother's Day, and said that he was going to have a Father's Day Weekend. I guess that seems fair enough. So, his special weekend started, not with breakfast in bed, but with the breakfast bar at The Golden Corral. Mike loves breakfast buffets, and was saddened when they closed Shoney's all those years ago. This was our first time ever going to Golden Corral, and I have to say it wasn't that bad. When we walked in and stood in line, Cecily said the funniest thing: "This is Just like Disney World!" We all looked at her and laughed, because hey, it was FAR from Disney World, but she clarified and said, "you know like Chef Mickeys. We could walk up and get our food. It's a buffet. " She was right about it being a buffet, but saddly there was no Mickey, Pluto, Donald, Goofy or Minnie coming up to our table to greet us. Definitely not Disney World, but hey at least we have the memories...

What a wonderful husband and father. I still remember dancing with my daddy...I know it will be cherished times for your daughters. Haahaa...I never took Mike for being a dancer...hmmm...he needs to hook up with Kit and teach him some moves. Kit IS the type to just dance in one spot (mind you, not even in a circle :P) I love learning new things about people!
That is so cute! I can see what Cecily means, Golden Corral reminds me of Chef Mickey's too=) Hey ,maybe she's on to something! Imagine how their sales would increase if they added characters to their breakfast buffet! Also, Marc and I totally miss Shoney's breakfast bar! You could get so much food for so little $$$$ making it our favorite place to eat when we were first married!
