Ariel, Cecily and I just finished watching our first finale of American Idol. First, are the finale's always so long? For a while, I felt like geesh how many people's careers are they trying to jump start. I did not mind when the contestants were singing, but come on, it went on and on and on....... Also, I know I'm the last person that should be given fashion advice, but what was up with Carly wearing those jet black tights with that red dress? Cecily kept saying, 'can't she erase those tattoos?" LOL.
Anyhow, let me just say that I liked both of the David's, but I guess I was hoping, along with the girls, the David A. would win it. But how can I be totally bummed because David C. was so nice and generous, and he really does have a great voice. I think they both will do well after this show.
It's funny because when Brooke got voted off, Ariel said, "Maybe it was meant to be. Maybe winning wasn't what Heavenly Father had in mind for her. Maybe it would have changed her." And tonight, Ariel said she was sad that David A. did not win, "but oh well, he needs to be preparing for a mission anyway." Way to keep things in perspective Ariel. Although Cecily cracked me up by her question, "Do you think I can marry him?" LOL.

Yeah, I'm a little bummed too but Marc is sooooo happy! He really likes David C. I really think they are both good and will have successful careers. Maybe David A. will be in the next High School Musical=) My favorites are still Brooke and Michael Johns. Wouldn't it be great to see them in concert? I am sure the tickets are outrageous. I know the ones I got for Kendal and I to see Carrie Underwood weren’t cheap. It has been a fun season=)
