Last night during Activity Day for Girls, I had bought some of the Great Value Butter Flavored spray. I don't usually buy this "flavor" (I usually use the canola or olive oil cooking spray--which are fine to me), but when I was buying the the ingredients for the bread, I passed by this and thought that the butter flavor would be good for bread. Well, last night while we were spraying it on the pans Taylor said, "That smells like throw up." The weird thing was, I didn't really smell it, I guess I was in a daze---because now I'm thinking how did I NOT SMELL IT.
Tonight when I was cooking, I needed some cooking spray and that just happened to be on the counter from last night and I sprayed it. Oh my goodness. Taylor you are soooo right. It does smell like throw up! Not kidding. Mike came in the kitchen and walked by and said (again not kidding), "What smells like throw up!" I said, "I know, it does. It really does." Let me just tell you I have a weak stomach and I thought I was going to throw up from smelling the "throw-up spray". I had to wash out the pan. I told Mike that Taylor said the same thing last night and he then questioned why I used it at all. His exact words were, "Why would you cook with something that smells like vomit." LOL!
Needless to say, I'm throwing that nasty stuff in the trash! Sorry to the Activity Day Girls for making you smell that stuff, thankfully it didn't seem to ruin the taste of the bread. Oh, and sorry if I grossed any of you out by this post, but I just wanted to give ya'll a warning.
