Chelsea, it's not just you...

Our young friend Chelsea, has a great blog and one of her recent posts is about the horror of finding a modest and pretty swimsuit, all in one. She said it was next to impossible. Chelsea, let me just say that I totally feel your pain.
Today, I went on my search for swimsuits for Ariel and Cecily (remember our pool is clear-yeah!). You think I would be able to find some cute, modest swimsuits for them without having to donate a kidney (I'm exaggerating a little, I know). I guess my thrift shopping self, just can't see paying $30 and up for bathing suits for two girls who are rapidly growing. But that's not even my biggest gripe, I can't believe how immodest the swimsuits are even for 6 year olds!
There were some cute takinis, but I know as soon as the girls raise their arms up to dive into the pool, their entire belly would be showing. As parents, we are not having it, at least not while they live with us. If it wouldn't be appropriate at 12, it's not appropriate at 6 and 10 either. Like Chelsea, I almost gave up, but after hours of searching, I found two that I think Mike and the girls will approve of. Now, let's just pray that they fit!

I thought about buying a speedo once but decided against it. Not really for the modesty thing but more for the sure mercy of everybody on the beach who would have been blinded by the albino gelitin mass beaching itself:) I do look up to those of you like Chelsea and yourself for staying strong. Oh and i don't care if you read my blog lets just hope it's good. Have mercy:)

P.s. I can't spell. Since I pulled my wife out of her sleeping bed to proof-read my blog post, I thought I'd have her look at my comment...needless to say, my spelling and grammar are awful. So, the delete comment previous was mine...this is the revised version:)
