"Dawg, I Can't Believe You Didn't Think It Was Funny"

Tonight, the girls and I were being goofy. Yesterday, we watched an episode of i-Carly about a teacher who was obsessed with Randy from American Idol. A character on the show, Freddy, kept saying phrases that Randy would say, phrases using the word "dawg". Tonight, Ariel said, lets see who can come up with the most Randy "dawg" phrases. So the three of us were taking turns coming up with all these crazy "dawg" phrases in our best Randy voices when Mike came in and said it was time for family scriptures. Right when he began to read, I said (I know it was not a reverent thing to do), "Yo dawg, it's like I always say, when you can read, you can read anything, but tonight, I'm just not feeling it." We all started laughing, but not Mike. He gave me a very serious look that said, "you better be reverent". So I got that way quick. I guess I've been watching too much TV. Let's just say, I won't be doing that again.
